This is more than just a Zrmanja river excursion — it’s a rare chance to swim beneath waterfalls, explore hidden natural beauty, and experience one of the most unforgettable boat tours in Croatia.
Please note: The excursion lasts 5.5 hours, including a stop for lunch and swimming in Ribnica. Upon request, we also offer a shorter version of the excursion lasting 4 to 4.5 hours, without the stop in Ribnica.
Your Zrmanja boat excursion from Starigrad Paklenica begins at the harbor, where your skipper will welcome you aboard a comfortable speedboat. Departures from Vinjerac and Rovanjska are available upon prior arrangement.
We cruise along the coastline with stunning views of the Velebit and Paklenica peaks, passing under the Maslenica Bridge and heading toward the mouth of the Zrmanja River.
As we enter the river canyon, you'll be surrounded by impressive cliffs over 200 meters high and crystal-clear, green water — one of the most iconic natural landscapes in Croatia. We continue upstream past Obrovac all the way to the waterfall.

After relaxing at the waterfall, we head back down the river canyon to the sea and sail to the peaceful town of Ribnica. Here we stop for free time to:

After exploring Ribnica, we head back toward Starigrad, arriving at the harbor around 3:30 PM.
Our shared tour operates with a minimum of 7 participants. You're welcome to book even if you're travelling alone, as a couple, or in a small group — we'll combine individual bookings and confirm your departure as soon as the minimum number of guests has been reached.
